Today I pulled out the sewing machine. It hasn't really seen a lot of action from me. My puts it to work when she visits. I made the red drapes today. I did okay. I think I might laugh someday when we sell the house if someone asks for them. I wish my mom had been here to make them for me.

Wow Bob, you are far braver than I! You have inspired me to make a valance for Evan's room though. If you can do drapes than I am going to try that much! Love the chairs too and your ironing board looks great next to them.
Hey Mel. Do you remember when you and El first got married and you used a hot glue gun for your kitchen curtains? That is how I've always made my valances. I bought a little expensive material and didn't want to hot glue gun them. I hope you had fun on your trip.
