Just A Little Christmas

Thomas said I could do a quick test post. Here is a shot of the tree. I just noticed the stockings are not hung with care but on the floor. I guess Santa had already filled them when I took this picture.

This was how we set the table for Christmas. I had no matching dishes and that called for some shopping. Thomas thought my everyday dishes were fine and my thought was no. They are cute dishes with blue and pink yet not what I wanted for Christmas and I also only had 7 since I broke one on our anniversary (oops). I had been wanting white dishes for the last few years. We were out shopping one day at a second hand store and I came across a stack of 12 white plates at 99 cents a plate. Now I have beautiful white plates with the white raised fruit trim. My Mom also made me some napkins from some material I had picked. Then the next issue was glasses. I again didn't have enough for everyone. I found some glasses and the gold chargers at Walmart. Anybody want to come over for dinner?

Back Soon

I just thought I'd give a quick update. My computer is DEAD and Tom's work computer.......I don't really know what is wrong with that thing. Today I got a new computer. It has been 10 years since I've had a new one. The last five years we've gotten free OLD computers from Tom's work. Tom is hunting for all the software and then I will be up and running again. Hoooraaay!!!!!! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I had a great time hosting my first Christmas at my house. I got to buy dishes and make napkins. I'll share more when I can post a picture.

Monday: Birthday Party with Jesus, Tuesday: Nutcracker Ballet, Wednesday: babysit, cook, wrap and Christmas Eve Service, Thursday: Merry Christmas. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. Beach baby, beach baby, give me your hand .........

Over the weekend we made a day trip to the beach. We all had a great time. Sydney saw her first group of dolphins and was very excited. She just kept saying "thank you for bringing me to the beach mommy." Baxter even went to the beach for the first time and he is not a lover of it. We had a great, wonderful and fastic day.

Thank You

Where is Madison?

Some of you have asked why she isn't in any of the below pics from the weekend. Madison was at camp and there are no pics. I didn't go along. She was a big girls and went alone. The camp was about 2 hours away at a lake. She had a great time. Sydney was sad all weekend without her Madison. :(

Happy Halloween

We were eating dinner and I told Tom that he and Robert should go dressed as McCain and Obama. Our neighbor who is an Obama fan ran out and got a mask. He later told us that the store had sold out of McCain. I put some flour in Tom's hair and he was ready to go. People loved it and kept asking to get picture of them.

McCain The Only Man For The Job

We all went to a John McCain Rally in Fayetteville, NC. It was a great and long day. We left our home around 10:30 am, got in line at noon, entered the building at 2:30 pm and the program finally started at 4:30 pm. There was only one moment with the secret service where we heard "STOP THAT MAN FROM ENTERING THE BUILDING!" We went thru some major security. We were 7 rows behind John McCain. They began the rally with the pledge and everyone shouted "UNDER GOD" when we got to that part and then a word of prayer. They also honored veterans and one from World War 2. It was just so emotional. I think John McCain is a wonderful man and I pray he becomes the President.

Just standing in line waiting.
Still waiting.

Still waiting.

These are pics from some cars in the lot.

Madison and I still waiting and happy to at least be inside. Sydny and I are sick but we just medicated ourselves and jumped in the car.

Still waiting for things to happen.

I took a picture of this mans pin. The Hottest VP in the Coolest State. People LOVE Sarah!

Just some pics as the place was starting to fill up.

Madison took this pic of the flag. We ended up with seats with military family. Too long of a story to go into sayhing how that happend. We're a military family kind-of-sorta. My Dad and Uncles in World War 2, Poppy and B-I-L John in Vietman.

Isn't this baby elephant the cutest thing. They were behind us and Dad was ok with pics.

Hank Williams Jr. was the entertainment. He was good and kept it clean.

John McCain!!!!!!!

This bus came pulling into the arena with John and Cindy McCain onboard.

This man was walking around the parking lot. He was too funny. People were jumping out of cars to get his picture. Me included.

Cindy and John.

More of the McCain family.

John McCain with his famous point and thumbs up.
