New Furniture
We've been busy around here. I painted furniture with the girls over the weekend. I didn't let them paint the black on though. The dresser was mine since I was a little girl and the desk had belonged to my SIL. There is also a chair that goes with the desk and I'm not done with that yet. We think it all came out GREAT!

Wow that looks great. It's amazing what a coat of paint will do for some things. You and the girls did a good job.
These turned out great!! I am thinking of painting the furniture in my mudroom black since we have a dark gray on the walls in there. Did it take a lot of coats?
You will have to give us a house tour when you are done decorating.
It took one coat of gray primer and then 2 coats of black satin.
