I think back in October I said that we were trying to sell our house. When I posted I showed a picture of the house we wanted. Things changed and we didn't sell. Then we got a call that some people down the street from us wanted to buy our house. They are in one of the smaller houses and wanted a larger one. We set out on a house hunt. We went and looked at the one I had posted about before and kept it on the list. Then we looked some new ones. We decided that the original house we wanted was just too far away. We decided to stay in town. We are going to move into a smaller house. I know crazy! Doing this will help us meet siome of the goals we have. We also think it's a smart thing to do in these crazy economic times. We started to clean and organize everything over the weekend. I had a few crying moments as we got rid of things. Nothing huge just things that need to go. A baby/infant sled that we got Madison when she was little for her first snow. I've got pictures of her in it and it's just time. I'm tearing up just thinking about it. We will be moving from 2400 sq. ft. into 1600 sq ft. I'll be sure to share pics on how we do this. Our lot size will now double and that we are excited about. I thought I'd post a picture of our old house and two of our new house.

YAY!!! I am so happy for all of you! The new house looks awesome! Love grows best in little houses (remember that song?)
I'm so excited for your guys. I hope you like this house. I know that you all wanted a bigger yard. I can't wait to see pics of the inside of your new house.

I like your new house! BTW, I think it's very smart of you to make that decision, even if it means a smaller home. You're doing what is best for you.
The book probably was "The Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie Omartian. You can probably borrow it from the library.
Hi Bobbi, I love your new house! You will be happy there I'm sure! I think you all have made a smart decision!
I want to thank you for your visit to my blog..please come back anytime! Blessings, Nancy
I know you will be happy, it will be nice to have you so close. Big is not always better....we love our cozy home!
I think your new house looks great and I'm proud of you for downsizing! It isn't that we need more square footage, we just need LESS JUNK. Right? David's grandparents raised 3 kids in our home and there are only 3 OF US and it is too small (and we added on a utility room, office, and full bath). We have much more than we need.
I can't wait to see how you decorate. Keep posting pics. :o)
I'm glad you added the follow me gadget. Yay!
