Snow
The girls had some yummy warm hot chocolate after they came inside. They had so much fun. They got to use our neighbors sled and that was a fun first for them and the neighbors little girl. None of them would go down the hill they were all afraid. I found that very funny since I grew up in New York State and went down some HUGE hills as a child. FYI this was a tiny little hill. I finally got Madison to go down and then she talked Sydney into going. Our little neighbor girl still wouldn't go. Her Daddy came and put her on the sled and gave it a little push. I believe we got 7 inches when we last measured with the ruler. If your wondering homeschooled kids don't get snow days. I want to be done by mid May.

J-E-L-L-O
We are in the kitchen at lunch time and this is what took place.
Sydney: Mommy I made my own juice.
Mommy: How?
Sydney: I take the jello and swish it in my mouth and spit it out in a cup.
Mommy: Oh really. Interesting.
Sydney: See I made this the other night when you were gone a whole cup of juice. I put it in the fridge to get fresh.
Mommy: Wow. Did Daddy know you made this?
Sydney: No.
Mommy: Okay glad you like it.
Yep I let her drink her fresh juice. I know gross.

What???????
This afternoon I was trying to get out of the house for a meeting and got a call for a showing of the house. They wanted to be here in 25 min. WHAT!!!!!????? The girls had just gotten out of the tub and we needed to work FAST! We came up with 2 shortcuts.
I had a sink frull of dirty dishes and a dishwasher full of clean and they would be at our house in 3 minutes. What to do??? We got plastic bags and filled them with dirty dishes and brought them with us. Yep we did.

I had also been doing laundry and had a pile of dirty clothes on the floor and a pile of clean towels on top of the dryer. The dryer had clean clothes in it and the washer had a rug I had just washed. Here it is 10 pm and I go in to see how my little helpers did in there today. When I looked in there before the showing the only thing I knew was everything was gone. They know how to get ready for a showing and hide everything. They had stuffed all the dirty clothes and clean towels in with the freshly cleaned rug. I guess tomorrow I'll have some stuff to wash again.
Now we'll just wait and see if they even want the house. I did make it to the meeting. It was a homeschool meeting for our co-op and we all got the classes we wanted. I will be teaching a class with my friend 'Across The USA In A Chevrolet'. There was way too much crazy in this day.

Goal
One of my goals this year is to read thru the Bible. I've never done it before or even thought about it. I just got it in the mail today. I've got 9 days worth of reading to do to get caught up. I got the idea from a friends blog...Running The Race @ www.dawnward.net . I'll keep you updated on how it goes.

Locks of Love
Madison donated her hair today to Locks of Love. She had been growing it for about a year. This is her first real styled cut. I think she looked so cute. It hit Daddy hard when he saw it but now he loves it. Madison LOVES her new cut.
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.
